Sunshine Street Fiesta
A family-friendly event as part of the Innovating Streets campaign to allow locals and visitors alike to come and enjoy people-friendly spaces along the Strand and Kakaharoa Drive.
Incorporating live entertainment on-stage with something for everyone from pop, rock, reggae, roots and jazz to a Brazillian DJ.
Amusement rides, ice skating and interactive games and activities, as well as a festive 'eat street' environment with additional food trucks in Wharaurangi.

Free Buses
Need a ride to and home from the fiesta!? There will be FREE buses available to and from Tāneatua - Ōhope - Edgecumbe and Coastlands, thanks to Bay of Plenty Regional Council - see below for timetables!
Access to some activities will be by gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to the Apanui Primary School recovery fund.
