Make A Seed Bomb
-
Seed Bomb Making!
Seed Bombing is an ancient gardening technique, and it’s often used to reseed areas with native plants. These small balls of nutrient rich clay provide the seeds inside a great shot at germinating and ultimately bringing new growth to the area! Toss a wildflower seed bomb into your garden for an explosion of colour or visit a reserve to throw a few new native trees.
To give making Seed Bombs a go, swing by Te Kōputu between 11am and 1pm Saturday 1st March for a free, no pressure, drop-in session. The library has all the supplies, just bring your guerrilla gardening spirit!
