Dance Carnival

The Dance Carnival is a celebration of all things ‘DANCE’.  It’s a great showcase of all the local dance groups and soloists, who come together and perform in the centre of town at Wharaurangi (aka ‘The Gap). It’s amazing just how much talent is out there in our local community. There will also be some special guest dancers from out of town.

Dance encompasses so many different genres, with a wide variety of musical accompaniment, so there will be something to appeal to everyone.

Dance is great for fitness, co-ordination, social interaction, and wellbeing. It’s an integral part of so many cultures both here and throughout the world. You might even consider joining one of the many dance groups who meet regularly in our community.

Please bring a hat, water, and a chair.
