Arts Whakatāne: Lantern Making

All ages.

Whānau are invited to decorate a light up paper lantern to be carried as part of the Light Up Whakatāne Parade on 3rd August. Artists Tania Akehurst and Sue Gould of Arts Whakatāne, the people who are part of the team organising the Trust Horizon Light Up Whakatane Festival, will guide participants in decorating their lanterns. This is a drop in session, so come along anytime during the three hour session, but please give yourselves at least 30min for your creation. 

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
