The Apanui Saltmarsh Care group

The Apanui Saltmarsh Care group monthly rubbish collection is held on the second Saturday of each month (weather permitting) at 8am.

Access is from the carpark at the corner of Mcalister and Beach Streets. Volunteers should wear gumboots or similar footwear. All other equipment is provided. The clean-up and sorting out of recyclables takes just over an hour. Afterwards, those that want to, can go and enjoy some social time at a nearby cafe. New volunteers are welcome. Just turn up.

* In the event of cancellation a notice will be broadcast on Radio 1XX at about 7am.
