2025 BOP IRB Long Haul

The Bay of Plenty IRB Long Haul celebrates its 12th year with the 2025 event. This event calls upon some of the best IRB Teams in the region and invites those from further afield to join the ‘stage race’ and battle it out along the magnificent Bay of Plenty coastline, as they race from Ohope Beach to Mount Maunganui.

The 2025 Stage Challenge Race will set off from Ohope Beach with location tasks along the coastline. All teams will begin as a Mass start, racing to the next destination, where they will receive instructions to complete a tasking/lifesaving or physical challenge before making their way to the next location.

When - Saturday 17 May 9am Start time
Cost - $90 per crew (Team of 3)
Entries Close - Monday 12 May 2025, 12pm
