COVID-19 restrictions have now been removed across New Zealand. Thank you for your support of our tourism operators and accommodation providers, over this time.
Minister of Health Dr Ayesha Verrall announced on the 14th August 2023 that all remaining restrictions would be lifted from today. Government has said the public health risk from COVID-19 is now considered low compared to other stages of the pandemic and it’s safe to remove the final requirements.
