Hui Hue Exhibition

'Hui Hue' is an exhibition that brings together a roopu of first-time hue growers and artists, from seed to exhibition.  

Each of the more than 40 hue on display has been grown, cultivated, dried, and adorned in Aotearoa New Zealand, and brings forth a unique perspective from each artist.

The immersive installation is a collaboration with Ōpōtiki artist Tangimoe Clay and sits to the left as you enter Whakatāne Library and Galleries. Most of the works are for sale on a cash-and-carry basis just in time for the festive season.
