Guided Light Trail Tour

We are excited to announce a guided tour at this year’s 2024 Trust Horizon Light up Whakatāne light festival. This exclusive tour will offer a deeper insight into the mesmerising light installations, led by two guides and accompanied by a local light artist.

The tour will begin Wednesday 31 July with drinks and nibbles at 1950 Bar in Whakatāne at 5:30 pm and will conclude with a drink and a three-course dinner at Roquette Restaurant at 7:30 pm. This tour can accommodate up to 20 people and requires prior booking before 24 July.

Please note that the tour involves walking 1.5 km along flat ground, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and be comfortable walking this length. Given the winter season, dress warmly and feel free to enhance the festive spirit by adding lights to your outfit.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather). In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
