Iramoko Marae

Iramoko Marae is nestled in the hills of Manawahe, providing a tranquil, peaceful environment to host your next team building day, board meeting, conference or general meeting. The marae is unique and like no other.

  • Accommodation services - Maximum up to 150 people ( we have 5 areas available to sleep, dependant on size of group)

  • Marae cultural visits- tailored for groups, schools, organisations or company 
  • Trail walks- walks to some of the famous wahi tapu sites, Te Awa o Te Atua, Whakapau Korero etc- Presentations, hikoi are done by our very own Tohunga, Historian of Maori whakapapa and knowledge, Pouroto Ngaropo 
  • History wananga- Own historian 
  • Spiritual Healing- Place of Spiritual Healing

The marae is uniquely outfitted with mod coms to ensure each group's needs are catered for. We are the process of erecting a flying fox, swimming pool for recreational and leisure. 

10 minutes, you will have access to the amazing Braemar natural springs beautifully enveloped by Maori native rongoa ( Maori native plants). 

Matata town centre is 15 minutes drive

Edgecumbe town centre is 18 minutes drive
