Wainui Seaside Glamping

Sitting on a peaceful spot on 14 acres of harbourside, bush-covered land, the setting of this glamping site is exquisite. A large luxury canvas tent, complete with wood-burner has views over stunning Ohiwa Harbour. Two small buildings - connected by decks, contain a kitchenette in one, and a bathroom in the other.

The glass sliding door at the front of the tent allows uninterrupted views of Ohiwa Harbour to Ōhope Spit from inside the tent. You can watch the changing tides and sun glimmer off the water from the comfort of your bed.

A luxurious outdoor bath is carefully positioned with views out to the harbour.

This lush, organic property is home to an abundance of native birds including Tui, White Eye, Weka, Wood Pigeon, Morepork (Ruru), Falcon, Pheasant, Duck, Fantail, Pukeko and more. Each night you'll hear the beautiful sound of Ruru and awaken to bird song.

The stars are truly amazing in this environment. The birdlife, the peacefulness and the way in which nature, water, land and fresh air embrace this paradise - is priceless.
